I suppose I should probably start with the most basic of things - my name. I'm Kimberly Anna, which is my first name and my middle name, but most people just call me Kim. Only my family and a small handful of my friends call me Kimberly. I'm currently 20 years old and in college, majoring in Early Childhood Education. Once I finish school, I want to be a kindergarten teacher. Actually, what I'd really love to do is travel around the world and learn about all the different styles of teaching around the world. I want to visit so many different places. I want to help people in those really poor underdeveloped countries. I'd love so much to be a teacher in a country like that, to help those kids, those people. But I know the chances of that ever happening are probably slim to none. So, being realistic, I want to be a kindergarten teacher.

I'm the oldest (and soon to be shortest...) of my siblings. I have two younger sisters (Nikki, 17; Hailey, 11) and a younger brother (Cody, 13). The youngest two are my half-siblings, and live in Alabama with our dad and their mom. Nikki and I live in New York with our mom. The four of us argue with each other, just like all siblings everywhere in the world do, and the youngest two annoy me to death when I'm around them because they can't go five minutes without an attempt to get World War 3 started... but here's the truth: I wouldn't trade any of them for anything. I love them all and don't know what I'd do without them. I really am lucky; they're pretty good siblings to have. Just don't tell them that I said that. Ok?
I grew up in one of those itty-bitty towns in the middle of nowhere that no one's ever heard of before. You know the kind of town I'm talking about. Everyone knows everyone, and you'd be surprised to see it on a map. (Honestly? I was surprised to find out that we have a town website.)
Aside from just writing, I also really love to read. My favorite book series is the Harry Potter series by J.K. Rowling, but my favorite book is Keeping You A Secret by Julie Anne Peters. I love the Maximum Ride series by James Patterson, and every book I've read by Lurlene McDaniel. I liked To Kill A Mockingbird, The Great Gatsby, and Ragtime, but absolutely hated Frankenstein. Stephen King is rather fantastic; I've loved all the books I've read by him so far except for It.
I enjoy making videos to put on youtube. I used to want to be a film editor, and I still kind of do. I'm going to take some film classes at college eventually, if they'll fit into my schedule. I like to draw, but I'm not that great at it. My sister Nikki is so much better than I am. But I just draw for fun, just because I like to, no other reason but that. But, hey, no reason necessary, right?
And... I think that's about it for now. Maybe I'll add more someday. Maybe I'll have a mini-bio in the back of a book I write someday. Maybe someday I might write something amazing and be on the Ellen Show. Yeahhh, I'll just keep dreaming about that last one. But still, the others could happen.
