I hope you're all doing really well. :) I just wanted to type up another update on here before I go to bed. I feel like if I wait to post something, I'll just put it to the back of my mind and just keep putting it off again and again until it doesn't get done. So it's 12:05 in the morning right now, and here I am, posting an update here. Well, kind of like an update anyway.
I've been doing a lot of research regarding publishing companies, publishers, and more along those lines. And when I say a lot, I mean a lot. The kind of research you're up past midnight doing.
The publishing company I have my deal with is a very small company, still really getting started. I can back out of the deal if I so choose to, but the point is that I have a deal with them. In my research, I've found a couple of other publishing companies I think I might want to submit my manuscript to.
I still have to finish writing it, which I know will take me at least a few more months. And after that comes editing. I also need to save up the money to pay the publisher.
The whole process is a lot bigger than I had originally anticipated. But it's going to happen. It might just take a little longer than I thought.
12:15 in the morning, and I've finished this "update" (if you want to call it that). I know I didn't say much, but it's been a while since I've said anything to anyone about my book, so I just wanted to put something up on here. I'm off to sleep now. Goodnight.
