I've been extremely busy with college life, but I'm still managing to find some time to work on "Break Me" (previously called "Fallen"). The more I write, the more I'm thinking that "Break Me" will end up being the final title. It just fits the story so much more than "Fallen" does.
I had the beginning and a lot of the middle written, and then a scene for later in the middle (actually, probably more towards the end at this point!) written, but no idea how to get the two to fit together. I've been toying with a couple different ideas, and FINALLY managed to connect them. Which is definitely good. I like what I have written now, how I connected what I had. I just want to wait a couple days and then reread it to see if I still like it. I feel like I probably will, but who knows?
I'm getting closer and closer to finishing it, actually, which I'm SO excited about! I have a few loose ends I need to tie up, but I think that for the most part, I'm probably about 75% done with writing it out. Then comes editing and all that fun stuff. It's all coming together though, and honestly, I couldn't be happier about it.
I love this story, you know? I love it because it's mine, and I've been working on it for so long. I love my characters, even though I don't always love what they do or how they act... I just love them. No matter what happens with this book, I'm so proud of it.
